THE SPIRIT

This trip won’t be like any other. In addition to the hiking, and exploration of Nepal, another central them of this journey is taking time to reflect together on our time in the Himalayas, and our lives generally. So much of our life is spent running and coping, but are we truly living? How do we want our life to be and how can we find joy? How can we believe we truly deserve it? This is an opportunity to be in a special place on a special journey with like-minded individuals. To reflect and be conscious and present going into the new year. Each one of you will get a special journal we created where we will log our thoughts and reflections. It’s an opportunity to inch closer to being truly awakened.

THE JOURNEY

This is a colorful short foray into the Annapurna region. The trail winds through patchwork valleys, dense mossy forests and past waterfalls where you can stop to freshen up. Around every corner is a tantalizing glimpse of the high mountains, whole horizons of which will be revealed to you as you reach the high points of your trek. This trek in the Annapurna foothills offers the best of trekking in Nepal with a combination of remote and popular paths. We also venture into the deep forests and roam the high alpine pastures, nearing the base of the sacred, fluted peak of Machapuchare. The emphasis of this part of the trek is on the forest and wilderness zones combined with an essence of exploration. We cross Hindu and Gurung villages, pristine forests (magnolia, oak and rhododendron) and alpine campsites that afford panoramic stunning views of the Annapurna Range that will long linger in your mind.

Upon your arrival, a representative from Wild Guanabana will be waiting outside the airport gates to take you to the hotel. Rest of the day is Leisure.
