Russia has a long and diverse history drawing from different backgrounds. Russian winters are extreme, many foreign invaders have fallen victim to it. We just try to conquer Elbrus - Europe’s highest mountain.
Being the largest nation in the world, it is home to more than 120 ethnic groups spread out across from Eastern Europe to Western Asia. This has resulted in a very diverse culture with many languages, religions and cultural traditions.
Russia is filled with history and culture. There are monumental royal palaces and the hermitage museum just in St. Petersburg. You can hike to mountain tops and ski your way down as well.
Alongside going to a Russian Ballet or visiting historical sites, Russia is home to the highest peak in Europe, so being one of the 7 summits, it attracts mountaineers from around the globe.
