Reflections & Actions

Your journey companion set includes a Book of Reflections and a Bag of Care. The notebook is your personal space to capture thoughts, sketches, and memories, turning each moment into a story uniquely yours. The bag is your tool for action, helping you collect plastic and waste along the way, leaving the places you explore cleaner and more vibrant. Together, they guide you to reflect, create, and make a positive impact on your journey.

Retreat level

This retreat is designed to be immersive yet balanced, a mix of adventure, creativity, and rest. You’ll enjoy light physical activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and a fun scavenger hunt, along with restorative experiences like dance movement therapy, journaling, and upcycling workshops. Accommodation is in shared tents, adding to the sense of community and connection. Facilities are simple, with beach showers instead of closed ones, keeping you close to nature. Whether you’re looking to recharge, connect with others, or try something new, the retreat is crafted to meet you at your own pace.

We leave Cairo at 2AM, arriving in Somabay by 8AM. After settling in and having a quick brief, we have breakfast. We then build the tents. After that, a hands-on session by VeryNile and some free time by the beach till lunch. In the afternoon, we head to the Marina for a fun-filled gold cart scavenger hunt. After that, we head back to the camp for dinner, ending the night around the bonfire.
After breakfast, we then head to the Marina for a boat trip in the Red Sea, where we explore a couple of beautiful spots and snorkel there. We then head back to the camp, where we have an Interactive cooking session. After that, we have a dance movement therapy session. We wrap up the evening with dinner around the bonfire.

After breakfast, we have an upcycled workshop by VeryNile, creating a kite commemorating our journey and our commitment to the environment. We pack and share one last lunch before ending our journey.
