Very few things quite compare to the sight of a Blue Whale. Hop on a ship and try to spot the world’s largest mammal.

Now that we’re here, a Wild Guanabana rep will be waiting outside the airport gates to take us to our hotel approximately 2.5 hours away. Today we’re free to relax or explore the city before having dinner and spending the night at Kitulaga Rest House.
After breakfast we begin our first adventure: rafting through the exhilarating rapids of the Kelani River and canyoning through its picturesque waterfalls. Lunch will be served at Kitulaga before we’re transferred to Nallathanniya for check-in at Slightly Chilled Hotel.
We’re up super early to follow in the footsteps of Buddha all the way up to Adam’s Peak for a stunning view of the sunrise at an altitude of 2,243 m. After descending, we’ll be welcomed back with a delicious late breakfast and get to enjoy the rest of the day as we please.
Today we’re cycling from Hatton to Belihuloya, the adventure capital of Sri Lanka, and spending the night at the Kinchiguna campsite.
It’s another early morning today as we grab breakfast and head to Kumbalgama Temple for some Sri Lankan cultural immersion before starting our trek to the famous waterfalls of Duvili Ella. We’ll stop there to have lunch with this a stunning view before being picked up for a short drive to Udawlaawe campsite where we’ll have dinner and spend the night.
Today is a big day for wildlife fanatics as we wake up early and hop in a 4x4 to go on a thrilling safari ride through Udawalawe National Park, which is packed with elephants, buffaloes, mongoose, and crocodiles. After that, we get transferred to Mirissa/Bentota to check in at Rock Side Beach Hotel before visiting a fishing village in the evening.
Since southern Sri Lanka is well known for being one of the easiest places to see the extremely rare blue whale, we’re going whale watching at Mirissa Harbor at 7 AM! On our way back from the harbor we’ll stop by the famous Galle Forte, a Cultural UNESCO World Heritage site. NB: Whale watching season is from February to April, so trips during any other month will include a boat ride in Koggala Lake instead.
After breakfast, we’re being transferred to the airport to catch our flights back home.
