It all started in Africa when I got the so-called addiction to mountains and wildlife. Being an animal lover, my first trip was as a volunteer in a wildlife sanctuary in Namibia, closely after that, my first mountain in Tanzania – Kilimanjaro. Since then, all I wanted to do was finance for more and more adventures either with animals or on mountains. Being in nature is where I find peace, happiness and serenity. My dog is the most important thing in my life but he is also very fat so my ultimate goal is to put him on diet and find a way to take him with me to mountain tops!

I am Mario. I have been an outdoor specialist for almost 10 years now. I have guided people across mountains, the desert and the open plains for a very long time. I see that the outdoors is a journey that cannot be ignored, it helps people heal mentally, physically and spiritually. Rock Climbing is my passion and I love sharing it with everyone who wants to try! I will make you feel that without climbing your life was something else entirely. 

Lyudmila is the first Russian woman to complete the 7 summits and her climbing record has about 100 ascents of all the grades including the highest. She is the third Russian women to summit Everest 3 times and has reached both the North and South poles. Her Elbrus guiding record is over 30 times in both summer and winter. Third Russian woman who summited Everest three times (2016). She has been organizing climbs and treks for over 15 years in the Caucasus (Russia), France, Peru, Tibet, Nepal, Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina, Ecuador, Tanzania, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Turkey. 

Godfrey was born in 1968 in Arusha Tanzania and is married with 3 children. Travelling around and exploring different places was one of the things, Godfrey loved from his early age. In order to pursue this dream he studied tour guiding at Communication Consult Tour Guide College. He later attended the course in guiding course at Kilimanajaro National Park (KINAPA) and attained his license as a mountain guide.

Even after reaching the peak in his career over the years as a mountain guide, Godfrey still improves his skills by taking different short courses like the Wilderness Fist Aid course in May 2013 and even provides training to other trainee guides.

After completing his education, Godfrey got a chance to work as a certified mountain guide for the past 16 years. He got several opportunities to meet different people from USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia. Guests that climbed with him have always praised him for his finest knowledge and great co-operation with each of them.

He is extremely passionate about the mountain guiding which gives him the inspiration to excel in his skills to the guests by sharing his knowledge of the mountains. He proudly shares his achievements as a mountain guide, some of which is guiding Roman Abromovich owner of Chealsea Football club and even has had opportunities to visit countries in East Africa, Qatar and even Russia.

Karma Sherpa has over 30 years long adventure experience as an expeditions guide and has climbed Mount Everest multiple times from the Nepali side as well as from the Tibetan side making him one of our top guides. He also has a wide range of experience on other technical mountains such as Island Peak, Mera Peak, Cho Oyu, Lobuche. He has been the head guide for most of the WG journeys to Nepal and he is such a joy to be around. His experience, knowledge, humbleness and eagerness to help has always been an inspiration and motivation for clients to reach their goals.

Joseph was born in 1975 in Arusha and is currently married with kids. After school, he went for further studies in College of African Wildlife Management at Mweka 2009-2010 where he was awarded a Certificate in Wildlife Management. He attended different short courses including Mountain Guide Skills- Conducted with KINAPA, First Aid Course- Conducted with Tanzania Red Cross Society Arusha, Wilderness First Respond (WFR) course conducted with AERIE Backcountry Medicine in Arusha. He graduated from different courses and worked as Head/Senior Mountain guide guiding a 75 year old man to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. He climbed other highest peaks in Africa such as Mt Kenya many times. Joseph is currently a Head/Senior Mountain Guide. He likes traveling, outdoor and natural conservation activities, reading novels and watching the news.

Brahim  was born and bred in the Atlas Mountains. Based in the heart of the trekking capital, Imlil, he began his life as a muleteer (a person who handles the mules) which allowed him to gain a thorough understanding of the routes and trails of the Atlas. Brahim brings his inside knowledge, his 10 years plus expertise and his passion, providing awesome tours and utilizing all of the best routes and trails of Morocco.

Sergey was born in the mountains, literally! He started working as a mountain guide since 2007 and is currently a candidate for Master of Sports in rock climbing. He stopped counting his Elbrus guided ascents after 50 climbs so he knows the mountain by heart. He loves ice climbing, mountain biking and alpine skiing.     

A meticulous researcher and planner. I take that into planning any trips or experiences. Done a few mountain tops and a few times over the years.

Alex started climbing at the age of 12 and he is currently a mountaineering and alpine ski instructor & guide. He has made more than 200 climbs in Caucasus:  Elbrus & Kazbek and spent several seasons in Nepal, guiding ascents of Kalapatar peak, as well as treks to Everest Base Camp.

Guided climbs: Elbrus (5642m), Aconcagua (6962m), Everest BC (5600m), Annapurna massif, Mera peak (6476m)

Goodluck Lema was born in 1986 in Arusha Tanzania and is currently married with kids. After school, he went for further studies in the College of Intel Training Center 2006-2007, where he was awarded Certificate in Tour guide management.  He attended different short courses such as basic First aid Responder, Mount guide Skills- Conducted with KINAPA, Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course conducted with Wilderness Medical Associate (WMA) in Arusha. He graduated in different courses and worked as an Assistant/Head Mountain guide and lead different groups to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. He like traveling, learning, reading, music, Outdoor and natural Conservation activities.

Sabir was born and raised in the Atlas Mountains, he has been working for over 5 years as a guide in the mountains as well as the desert (Bougama, Atlas Mountain and Sahara)

Being born there, he is very familiar with the Atlas Mountains and very knowledgeable with the area. He also loves cooking so make sure you ask him for a good Moroccan recipe to take home with you

Daniel was born in 1981 in Arusha. He attended different courses; basic First aid responder (trainee), Mount guide Skills- Conducted with KINAPA,  First Aid Course- Conducted with First Aid Africa as a trainer in Moshi Tanzania. In April 2011 he attended Wilderness First Respond (WFR) course conducted with AERIE Backcountry Medicine in Arusha. Daniel is living in suburban Arusha, where he was started to work with other companies in 2003 as Walking Safari Guide & Mountain guide. Now he joined A&K in 2009 till current as Head/Senior Mountain Guide. He likes traveling, learning new things, swimming, music, the outdoors and natural conservation activities

Alex is the current president of our team in Russia and a member of the Russian Geographical Society. He is a master of Sports in climbing (he completed about 50 climbs of the highest grade). He is a mountaineering instructor, guide, and high altitude cameraman He also works as an organizer and guide to Mount Everest which he did more than 10 times.  Has guided Elbrus (5642m) climbs more than 50 times (in summer and winter).

Sergey has experience in guiding mountains all over the world including, Elbrus (5642m), Everest Base Camp (5600m), Island peak (6189m), Aconcagua (6962m), Lobuche East peak (6119m),  Tharpu Chuli peak (5663m) as well as Annapurna massif

Vladimir has been climbing and guiding groups since 2006 including ascents of Elbrus, Kazbek, Island Peak and Aconcagua. He loves rock and ice climbing, alpine skiing, scuba diving, martial arts as well as photo & video shooting in the wilderness.

Guided climbs: Lhose (8,516m), Lobuche East (6,119m), Cotopaxi (5,897m), Kilimanjaro (5,895m), Aconcagua (6,962m)

Bhuwan is an English and Italian speaking guide having more than 15 years in guiding journeys in the Himalayas and has been part of WG since its start. Growing up in a guides family, Bhuwan has trekked widely in the Nepali, Indian and Tibetan Himalayas giving him expertise and knowledge in the entire area.

When he is not on a mountain, he is usually teaching Italia in Bishwa Bhasa Campus (Campus of International Languages) as well as other various institutes in Kathmandu.

Olariv was born in 1987 in Arusha. After finishing school, he went for further studies in the College of Four Course Guide in Mollar College center where he was awarded with a Certificate in Tour Guide Management.  He completed different short courses such as Basic First Aid Responder, Mount Guide Skills- Conducted by KINAPA, First Aid Course- Conducted with First Aid Africain Moshi Tanzania, Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course conducted with AERIE Backcountry Medicine in Arusha. He also completed a course for money management conducted by Summits Africa and a course by the National Institute of Transport. Olariv started off as a porter then became an assistant guide and is currently a Head/Senior mountain guide specializing in Mount Kilimanjaro.  He like traveling, learning, reading novels and books, outdoor and natural conservation activities and is a strong believer in improving himself everyday to be resourceful to his fellow colleagues and clients.

Dimitry has been titled “The Snow Leopard” as he was awarded for completing all the 7000+ meter mountains in the former soviet union. He also sumitted Mount Everest twice and skied to both the North and South Pole which makes him an expert.

Jawad was born in the High atlas Mountains and graduated from the Tabant Guide School in Azilal. He worked as a mountain and desert guide all over Morocco and has more than 10 years of experience guiding clients from all over the world. He studied English at university and he really enjoys having the opportunity to communicate with climbers in English.

In his own words: “I consider myself as a real ambassador of my country in the mountain and I do my best to give the clients all the information concerning the culture and tradition of the Berber people.”

He is one of the most popular people you will ever come across – friendly, hospitable, caring and funny, he is the perfect man to spend your time on the mountain with!

Sangam was born in remote area in Nepal and his love for the mountains was what triggered his career as a mountain guide. He has trekked widely in the Nepali and and Tibetan Himalayas and lead many trips in the Everest region, the Annapurnas, Mt Kailash, Langtang and Mustang.

Throughout the years of my experience in education, I was fortunate enough to work with children, providing them with the right environment to both learn and play. Through this, I discovered that the best ways for children to learn are through camps and recreational activities. I’m passionate about creating programs that satisfy the learning needs of children and create a space for discovery and experimentation. I am absolutely convinced that this is necessary for the development of a passionate, creative and innovative person.

My name is Omar Samra, I quit uninspiring jobs and start companies during financial crisis’ and then name them after exotic fruits. I also specialize in dragging myself and heavy objects to high and cold places. When I’m not working on Wild Guanabana, I’m on a mountain somewhere, climbing something snowy or hanging out somewhere remote. When I’m working, I’m designing some of the funnest journeys to the world’s most inspiring places for anyone out there looking for the extraordinary!
